The one rule
Fixed booking time beats optional sightseeing. If delayed, shorten browsing or drop an optional stop β never risk teamLab, the Imperial Palace tour, SHIBUYA SKY, the matcha class, or the 7:30 PM YOKAI parade on Sep 22.
Every morning before leaving
- Screenshot all QR/Klook vouchers and meeting-point maps; keep phone battery above 70%.
- Carry passports (tax-free shopping), IC card, water, sunscreen, a compact umbrella, comfortable shoes.
- Follow the line letter + station number + direction β not color alone. Trust the live station board over this plan.
- September heat and humidity: protect fixed bookings first, drop optional stops if tired or delayed.
IC cards
Tokyo: one Suica/PASMO per person, loaded with at least Β₯3,000 each to start. Osaka: one ICOCA per person, loaded with βΒ₯10,000β12,000 before Sep 22 β plus βΒ₯2,000 cash per person for small shops and temples. Night before

Namba = Osaka Metro (your hotel is closest to Exit 6). Nankai Namba = airport & Sakai trains. Osaka-Namba = Kintetsu & Hanshin. JR Namba = JR & OCAT. Always confirm which one before walking.
ICOCA card
One card per person, for Osaka Metro, Nankai ordinary trains, the Hankai tram, JR local trains, and Nara buses. Load βΒ₯10,000β12,000 per person before Sep 22, and keep at least Β₯2,000 cash per person for small shops, temples, and emergencies.
Before each day
- Screenshot every Klook voucher and venue address; keep the originals accessible in the app.
- Charge phones and power banks. Carry passports, ICOCA cards, water, a compact umbrella, a small towel, and any medicines.
- Check weather, public-holiday timetables, attraction closures, and live train platforms before leaving.
